Home physiotherapist service: your physiotherapist comes to you
Not every patient who needs physiotherapy can easily get to a clinic. For someone struggling to walk after a stroke, just out of surgery or confined to bed, travelling to every session can be more exhausting than the treatment itself. At Fizyobul we take that burden away: our physiotherapist comes to your home with the necessary devices and materials and holds the session in the patient's own surroundings.
Physiotherapy at home is not a different treatment from the one given in a clinic; the same assessment, the same exercises and the same supporting methods are used. The difference is that treatment takes place where the patient lives every day. The physiotherapist sees on the spot how the patient gets out of bed, reaches the bathroom and climbs the stairs, and builds the programme around that.

Which physiotherapist will visit you?
Every physiotherapist in our team has at least 3 years of experience in their field and holds certificates in areas such as manual therapy, lymphoedema and dry needling. When you call, we first listen to the patient's diagnosis and level of mobility, then assign a physiotherapist who has worked in that area: a patient who has had a stroke is visited by a physiotherapist experienced in neurological rehabilitation, a patient after joint replacement by one experienced in orthopaedic rehabilitation. You can meet the team on the our physiotherapists page.
Which districts of Istanbul do we cover?
We provide home physiotherapy in Beyoğlu, Şişli, Kağıthane, Beşiktaş, Sarıyer, Fatih, Kadıköy and Üsküdar. If you are not sure whether your address is in this area, just call and ask.
Questions about home physiotherapy
What does the physiotherapist do at home?
On the first visit they assess the patient: muscle strength, joint movement, balance and how independently daily tasks are managed. In the following sessions they apply the programme using exercise, manual therapy and, where needed, methods such as electrotherapy, and teach the patient and family the exercises to do between sessions.
How much does a home physiotherapist cost?
Sessions start from 2,000 TRY and last about one hour. The fee depends on the treatment methods used. The first assessment is free of charge.
Do I need to buy any equipment?
No. A portable electrotherapy device, resistance bands, weights and taping materials come with the physiotherapist. A bed the patient can lie on comfortably and a little free space are enough.
Is physiotherapy at home as effective as in a clinic?
Most programmes based on exercise and manual treatment can be carried out at home in exactly the same way. Programmes that require large clinical equipment, such as hydrotherapy or robotic gait training, cannot be done at home; if the assessment shows such a need, we tell you openly and refer you to a suitable centre.
How do I book an appointment?
Call +90 543 483 54 99. After listening to the patient's situation we agree on a suitable day and time, and our physiotherapist visits you at home for the free first assessment.
